"5 stars" - Great book to help with targeted GMAT practice / By GMAT Club I was debating between 4 and 5 stars and I think will give Princeton Review 5 for trying and for putting a product out that covers a big gap in materials available today. It will obviously not replace The Official Guide for GMAT Review which contains real GMAT questions, but will provide what OG cannot - targeted practice. |
"1 star" - Errors + misprints = this book / By A. Reshetnyak It might have been a good preparation tool, as it has plenty of good questions. Unfortunately, almost each page has an error that makes this book useless. |
"1 star" - Rife with errors and typos / By GMAT Student "CB" I wanted to second the previous poster. This book is rife with errors and typos, which is both frustrating and detrimental to one's preparation process. There are so many errors that you can't trust the "correct" answers in the back when you're checking your work - which of course defeats the entire purpose of practice exercises. |
"1 star" - LOTS OF TYPOS AND ERRORS IN THE BOOK / By S. Robinson "Spencer" This book looks like it was not proof read. For example, pages 346 and 347 (coordinate geometry drill) ask the question: "In the figure above..." yet there is no figure above making the questions useless. Page 195 gives the answer to question 5 as "A" but in the explanation, it notes that A is incorrect and should be marked out. These are two of about 25 errors I have found so far - I didn't start keeping track until about half way through the book. |
"4 stars" - Review of GMAT questions / By K. Unger "MegaReader" This was a great prep book that worked well after reading a more "disection" book of the GMAT and it's questions. |
"5 stars" - ideal test prep text... / By Jillian T. Timothy The perfect text with adequate questions and helpful strategies to use as preparation for the GMAT. |
